Although born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Carole followed her mom to Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii in 1986. Except for five years in Honolulu where she met her husband, she finds herself firmly affixed to Kona. "The Big Island is so diverse with its rich culture, food and lifestyle, it's hard to imagine living anywhere else." She now has been married for over 10 years and has a wonderful 9 year old son James, who is in the 4th grade and loves math. He can also play a mean game of black jack. Carole has often stated that James is the life blood of all her energy, he continually keeps her young at heart and on her toes. Throughout her life Carole has worked in the customer service industry; mostly working in hotels and resorts as a front desk clerk, reservationist and hotel manager. She had found that service, whether to customers, co-workers and friends, is a lost art. One of her personal missions is to bring back true customer service to business and adds that "service to humanity should be a lifestyle, a trait that should come naturally, not a something you do between 9 to 5." Another great passion is shopping. You can tell that by looking into her closet and counting the number of pair of shoes she owns. She has often thought of starting an over 50 pair shoe club for women. Carole believes shopping is an art form which she performs well. "Shopping takes skill. First you must start with an idea or concept then initiate a plan. Once your plan is in place you have to do the research and make a budget. Price is not always the deciding factor; there is quality, style, function, and convenience. You have to place a value and return on the item." Along with a push from friends, this passion and skill is what convinced her to begin a career in real estate.
